At the Zainsk Museum, schoolchildren were shown a film about a soldier's mother and her sons.
In the Zainsk Local History Museum, a lesson of courage was held for students of the first city school. The children were shown a documentary film "A Word About the Soldier's Mother and Her Sons" about the tragic fate of the Chernov family from the village of Verkhniy Bagryazh, where only one of the six brothers who went to the front returned.
Memory that cannot be forgotten
An event dedicated to the military and labor valor of the locals took place at the Zainsk Local History Museum. The participants of the meeting were students from the first city school. Museum staff prepared a rich program for them, the main goal of which is to preserve historical memory and continuity of generations.
A film that you can't take your eyes off
The main part of the meeting was the screening of the documentary film "A Word About the Soldier's Mother and Her Sons." The film is based on real events and tells the story of the Chernov family from the village of Verkhniy Bagryazh. This story is an example of indomitable will and selfless love for the Motherland. During the Great Patriotic War, six sons from one house went to the front. Only one returned alive and unharmed — the youngest of the brothers, Alexander Andreevich Chernov. The schoolchildren watched the footage and relatives' memories with bated breath.
An exhibition of courage
After the screening, museum staff invited the children to the exhibition hall. Here, an exhibition dedicated to the military and labor valor of the Zainsk residents was opened. The stands featured unique exhibits:
- front-line triangular letters;
- photographs of hero locals;
- personal belongings of soldiers;
- awards of rear workers.
The schoolchildren examined each item with great interest, asked the guide questions, trying to imagine the immense contribution their ancestors made to the common Victory.
A living response in hearts
The children were not indifferent. In their feedback, they noted: the story of the Chernov family and the exhibition of courage are not just pages of a textbook, but a living pain and pride of their small homeland. "Today's event is a tribute to the memory not only of those who fought on the battlefields but also of those who forged Victory in the rear with their labor. We must remember the price at which peace was achieved," emphasized the organizers.
The lesson of courage has ended, but it left a deep mark in the hearts of the teenagers. Heroism lives not only in news reports — it is in the fates of ordinary families in the Zainsk district. And as long as this memory is alive, so is the gratitude of generations.
