Leila Fazleeva: The summer festival "Kursh" will take place with a new direction "Miras".
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Leila Fazleeva, announced the launch of the summer season of the neighborhood festival "Kurshe.Fest," which in 2026 will feature a new special direction "Miras," dedicated to the theme of heritage. Speaking at a press conference at "Tatar-inform," Fazleeva thanked representatives of the media for their attention to the initiatives of the residents of the republic being implemented within the framework of the project. According to her, the festival, which has already held summer and winter stages, continues to develop and is filled with new meanings. "We are pleased to invite everyone who wishes to participate in the event. This event is kind, positive, and creative," she emphasized, noting that the key values of the project remain neighborliness, mutual respect, and joint development. The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the festival is built on the active participation of the residents themselves – both in cities and rural settlements. According to her, a significant part of the initiatives comes directly from citizens, including families and schoolchildren, who act as organizers of events in yards, parks, and public spaces. "The residents of the Republic of Tatarstan are active, creative, positive, talented, and want to realize their initiatives and share emotions and moods with each other," said Fazleeva. She added that such projects become a platform for uniting people and forming sustainable local communities. As a result of previous festival seasons, she noted, initiative groups have formed in the republic that continue their joint activities even after the events. Participants go from discussing ideas to their practical implementation, taking into account the interests of different categories of residents – children, adults, and people with limited mobility. Special attention during her speech was given to the importance of active residents, whom Fazleeva called the "diamonds" of the republic. "The land is held up by such kind and initiative people," she emphasized. She separately noted the high level of involvement of participants in the winter stage of the festival, who, despite the weather conditions, implemented projects and held events. "They were not afraid of either the cold or the snow," said Fazleeva. In 2026, the festival will enter a new stage of development. Within the framework of the third season, a special direction "Miras" will be launched, which translates to "heritage." As the Deputy Prime Minister explained, this involves the formation of cultural and historical heritage through joint initiatives of residents. "We all together realize that we are part of the creation of the cultural heritage of our republic," she noted. According to her, the new season of the festival will focus on the development of public spaces, support for new ideas and practices, as well as the formation of a positive environment in cities and villages. Fazleeva expressed confidence that participation in such projects fosters a responsible attitude among residents towards their surrounding space and strengthens social ties. "The essence of human life is precisely to create and bring benefit," she emphasized. The summer festival "Kurshe.Fest" will continue a series of projects aimed at developing neighborliness and public initiatives in Tatarstan. It is expected that residents from various districts of the republic will participate in the events.
