The exchange of views on international and regional issues confirmed Russia and ASEAN's commitment to strengthening the security architecture in Eurasia and the Asia-Pacific region based on openness, equality, and respect for international law. The parties confirmed their readiness to expand cooperation on multilateral platforms and to promote the strengthening of practical ties between ASEAN and the EAEU and SCO.
