      In Kazan, a project is planned to modernize security systems at all metro stations, as well as at the traffic control center. This is evidenced by data from the state procurement portal. The customer for the work is "Metroelektrotrans," reports "ProKazan." Special attention in the project will be given to the development of the video surveillance system, including the implementation of intelligent technologies. It is expected that the cameras will not only record what is happening but also automatically recognize potentially dangerous situations, including unattended items, movement in prohibited directions, and crowding. The work will cover all 11 operating stations of the Kazan metro, including "Kremlievskaya," "Ploshchad Tukaya," "Gorki," and others, as well as the unified dispatch center on Nursultan Nazarbayev Street. In addition to video surveillance systems, the project includes the installation and modernization of access control systems, alarms, communication means, data transmission, and processing systems. All elements are planned to be integrated into a single infrastructure so that information from the stations is promptly sent to the control center.

      The initial cost of the contract is 19.85 million rubles. The contractor will need to conduct an inspection of the facilities, prepare project and estimate documentation, and undergo the necessary expertise. All work is planned to be completed by April 30, 2027, with a warranty period of three years.
