      Veteran of the special military operation Alexey Nesterov has actively engaged in sports life and participates in a number of competitions, demonstrating strength of spirit and a desire to recover after his injury. Despite the severe injury sustained during the evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield, he finds the strength to compete. On April 25, the first republican competition in cybatletics took place in Kazan. Participants with amputations of lower limbs had to overcome an obstacle course on prosthetics within a time limit, avoiding mistakes. Alexey handled the course with dignity. Alexey Nesterov previously participated in the Rais Cup, as well as in arm wrestling competitions. Ahead is participation in the "Abilympics" championship. The "Defenders of the Fatherland" foundation helps Alexey learn about opportunities to participate in such projects. Alexey himself admits: it is not only the medal that matters, but also the live communication with fellow soldiers. "At competitions, you again feel that brotherly shoulder. It gives you the strength to move forward," shares the veteran.
