More than 15,000 students plan to find employment through student teams in Tatarstan.

      More than 1500 people participated in the Republican Youth Forum "Jobs for Youth," which student teams from Tatarstan held in Kazan and Almetyevsk. At the forum venues, representatives of Russian student teams, veterans of the movement, employers, and educational organizations from 24 districts of the republic discussed staffing issues and employment opportunities for youth. The Director of the Republican Center for Student Labor Teams, Vasily Islaev, reported that over six years, the forum has reached more than eight thousand young people. According to him, "Jobs for Youth" has become a platform for direct communication between youth and employers, where schoolchildren and students can learn about in-demand fields for study, work, and retraining. He noted that there are currently about 52,000 job vacancies in Tatarstan, and enterprises are particularly interested in young specialists. Islaev also mentioned that the republic is actively attracting students from other regions for seasonal and temporary work. In 2026, it is planned to employ more than four thousand students in all-Russian and interregional labor projects in Tatarstan. He stated that in 2025, 15,950 people worked as part of the student teams in the republic, with nearly 800 of them remaining at enterprises after the labor season ended. At the forum venues, an interactive career fair was organized for youth. Under the guidance of RSO participants, schoolchildren and students tried their hand at being electricians, rebar workers, bartenders, waiters, camp counselors, fish processors, doctors, veterinarians, and train conductors. This format allowed participants to familiarize themselves with professions in practice even before their first employment. Employers—partners of the student teams in Tatarstan—presented job vacancies for temporary and permanent employment. Forum participants were able to communicate with representatives of HR services, learn about working conditions, and apply for participation in the summer labor semester. In 2026, it is planned to employ more than 15,000 students through the student teams in Tatarstan. Since the beginning of the year, 2,974 people have already started working—this is almost 20% of the overall plan. Youth are working in industrial enterprises, construction, agriculture, and the service sector. Special attention is given to enterprises in the defense industry, where a significant portion of trained personnel is directed. This year, 5,601 people are undergoing professional training for free in more than 80 working specialties. In Kazan, as part of the forum, a lecture by the Russian Society "Knowledge" titled "Personal Success Story" also took place. Figure skater, producer, and choreographer, silver medalist of the Olympic Games, world and European champion Ilya Averbukh spoke to the participants. He shared his professional journey, overcoming difficulties, and battling emotional burnout. According to Averbukh, the path to success is rarely straightforward, and the most important thing is to be able to rise after failures and continue moving forward.

      Additionally, within the framework of the forum, meetings with employers were held, dedicated to preparing for summer employment for youth, as well as a meeting of the Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tatarstan on staffing for enterprises. The next stage of the forum will take place on May 14 in Naberezhnye Chelny. Students from more than ten municipalities of the republic will participate.
