"The campaign 'Books for Our Own' has gained special significance in the current conditions, as literature has always remained not only a source of knowledge but also an essential tool for spiritual support," shared the initiator of the campaign, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Olga Pavlova. According to her, books about heroism, courage, and love for the Motherland help maintain an internal connection with the history of one's country, strengthen the morale of military personnel, and remind that the Russian people have endured severe trials throughout history thanks to unity, faith, and devotion to the Fatherland. "The participation of a large number of residents of Kazan, youth, educational institutions, and public organizations in the campaign is a testament to high civic responsibility and sincere support for the fighters of the special military operation," emphasized Olga Pavlova. The event was also attended by the Executive Secretary of the Kazan local branch of the United Russia Party, deputy of the Kazan City Duma Tanzilya Rakova, member of the General Council of the United Russia Party, deputy of the Kazan City Duma Marcel Sharapov, deputy of the Kazan City Duma Ruslan Minabutdinov, member of the Public Chamber of Tatarstan Ranil Nuriyev, head of the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian public organization "Officers of Russia" Yuri Mityushin, and head of the regional branch of the All-Russian People's Front in the Republic of Tatarstan Aigul Sabirova. "The campaign 'Books for Our Own' is an important contribution to supporting our military personnel and preserving historical memory. As part of the campaign, more than 700 copies of military-patriotic literature have been collected and transferred. Among the publications are works by Alexander Zvyagintsev "Nuremberg", the book "Stalin. Fate and Strategy" by Svyatoslav and Ekaterina Rybas, literature about Georgy Zhukov, the tragedy of Babiy Yar, the feats of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War, and historical events that played a key role in the fate of the country. The convoy with the books will head to the area of the special military operation on May 13, 2026.

      The campaign "Books for Our Own" started in the capital of Tatarstan in April 2026 with the support of the Kazan local branch of the United Russia Party, the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian public organization "Officers of Russia", and the regional branch of the All-Russian People's Front in the Republic of Tatarstan.
