The repair of Mira Avenue in Chelny will cost one billion rubles.

      "Glavtatdorttrans" has published new procurements for the repair of Mira and Musa Jalil avenues in Naberezhnye Chelny. The customer has split the previously auctioned single lot into three parts following a directive from the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). The initial cost for the renovation of Mira Avenue was set at 1 billion rubles, while Musa Jalil Avenue was estimated at 822 million rubles. A tender was also announced for the repair of Naberezhnochelninsky Avenue, amounting to 765.5 million rubles. The contractor will face the largest volume of work on Mira Avenue – 12.3 km. The main road artery of the GES settlement is 8.8 km long, while the Naberezhnochelninsky Avenue, located between them, is 8.2 km. Work on all three roads must be completed by October 22. Earlier, Chelny-biz.ru detailed the situation surrounding the only road tender in the automotive city. "Glavtatdorttrans" formed a single lot for the repair of three avenues – nearly 30 km of roads with a total cost of 2.7 billion rubles. This contract was awarded to the Kazan company "Volga-Autodor," which has already begun its execution on Mira Avenue. However, a complaint was filed with the FAS by the construction company "Berg" from St. Petersburg. In its appeal, it challenged the auction results, citing violations in the customer's documentation. Among the claims were the consolidation of the lot, a reduced warranty period, and discrepancies between the procurement notice and the contract project. By the way, the warranty period in the new contracts remains the same – two years.

      Following an unscheduled inspection, the FAS recognized the arguments as justified. The agency instructed the customer to amend the documentation and announce a new competition. The acceptance of applications for the announced lots will end in late May.
