More than 25 thousand residents of Tatarstan received a digital ID in the MAX messenger with the support of the Social Fund.

      Employees of the Social Fund's Branch for the Republic of Tatarstan helped residents of the region master a new digital service. Since September 2025, consultations with specialists have enabled the creation of electronic IDs for 25,000 citizens, including pensioners, people with disabilities, and large families. The ability to connect a digital identifier in the MAX messenger became available to residents of Tatarstan back in September 2025. During this time, 25,000 clients of the regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia successfully used the service. Of these, about 13,000 are pensioners, around 4,000 are citizens with disabilities, and 7,000 are parents raising three or more children. Employees of the Social Fund's Branch for the Republic of Tatarstan regularly assist residents of the republic in understanding the new service. Consultations take place both in regular client offices and in specialized Centers for Senior Communication. Specialists explain how to update the MAX and "Gosuslugi" applications, as well as how to create a digital profile from scratch. To date, more than 42,000 individual consultations have been conducted. With the direct assistance of fund employees, more than 25,000 digital profiles have been created.

      Digital literacy for the "silver" age

      For seniors, separate digital literacy lessons have been organized in the Centers for Senior Communication. The classes are conducted in two stages. First, participants listen to a lecture where they learn about the main advantages of electronic documents: they have full legal force, contain all the owner's data (full name, date of birth, SNILS, type and duration of pension appointment), and unlike paper documents, they cannot be lost, and there is no need to carry them around — they are always on the phone. Then, under the guidance of mentors, they access the "Gosuslugi" portal, find the section with documents, open the electronic ID, and learn how to generate a QR code for presentation.

      "The digital profile in the MAX messenger is a step towards a maximally accessible and convenient service for our citizens. We see that Tatarstan residents, especially the older generation, are actively interested in new opportunities. More than 25,000 residents of the republic have already appreciated the advantages of the electronic ID thanks to the employees of the Social Fund's Branch for the Republic of Tatarstan: it cannot be lost, it is always at hand on the smartphone, and it has full legal force. Our task is to continue helping people master such tools so that obtaining services becomes easier and faster," added the Manager of the Social Fund's Branch for the Republic of Tatarstan, Eduard Vafin.
