A 23-year-old student from Tajikistan came to the reception and diagnostic department of the Republican Clinical Hospital (RKB) with complaints of sharp pain, noise, and a sensation of movement in his left ear. ENT doctor Bilal Gallyamshin found a cockroach in the ear canal and removed it using micro-surgical ear forceps. The procedure went without complications. Medical professionals warn: do not attempt to remove a foreign object from your ear on your own — this can damage the eardrum and lead to hearing loss. Seek help immediately. The hospital added: "Plus one phobia."
