The Consul General of China in Kazan, Xiang Bo, announced the completion of his diplomatic mission.

      The Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Kazan, Xiang Bo, announced the completion of his diplomatic mission and his upcoming departure. The letter was sent to the editor-in-chief of "Tatar-inform," Rinat Bilalov. In the beginning of his address, the diplomat expressed deep respect and gratitude and noted that, by the decision of the Chinese side, he is concluding his work as the Consul General of China in Kazan. "During my tenure as the Consul General of China in Kazan, I had the honor of witnessing and participating in the rapid development of Chinese-Russian relations. Under the leadership of our countries' leaders, the relationship between China and Russia is at a historical high," wrote Xiang Bo. He specifically highlighted the role of Tatarstan, calling the republic one of the key regions of Russia and an example of dynamic development. The diplomat reported that he lived in Kazan with his family for almost four years and witnessed changes in the city, which he called "a pearl on the Volga." "Interregional exchanges are active and close, the BRICS summit was successfully held, and the 'ROSTKI' forum became a vibrant platform for business cooperation between China and Russia. The 'Yangtze-Volga' mechanism is functioning effectively," added Xiang Bo. He also pointed to the growth of trade turnover to historical values, the implementation of joint investment projects, an increase in student exchanges, and the launch of a direct flight from Kazan to Shanghai. Tatarstan, as the diplomat noted, has become one of the most active Russian regions in cooperation with China and holds leading positions in interregional interaction. Xiang Bo emphasized that media cooperation between the two countries is developing and helps strengthen mutual understanding between peoples, as well as promotes the dissemination of ideas of friendship and international justice. "Wherever I may be in the future, I will always cherish warm memories of the wonderful years spent in Kazan, consistently support and follow the development of Tatarstan, and tirelessly work for the eternal friendship between China, Russia, and Tatarstan," noted Xiang Bo.

      The Consul General thanked for the support of his work in Kazan and expressed hope for further development of cooperation in the media sphere and strengthening public ties between Russia and China.
