On June 6, Chistopol will host the main folk holiday - Sabantuy, symbolizing the end of spring fieldwork, labor, and joy. The event program was published on his page by the head of the Chistopol district, Dmitry Ivanov. "The long-awaited Sabantuy is approaching - a holiday of the plow, labor, and joy! You will find traditional competitions, folk songs and dances, fun games for children and adults, treats, and an atmosphere of a universal celebration," wrote Dmitry Alekseevich. The festivities will begin at 9:00 at the racetrack, where all those interested are invited to horse races. The main events will unfold at 10:00 at the "Tatneft-Olymp" stadium. Here, national courtyards will be open for guests, and folk games and treats will be organized.
The holiday program includes:
• entertainment show "Battle of Labor Heroes";
• national wrestling on belts, koresh - the culmination of any Sabantuy.
The organizers have prepared a rich musical part. On stage will perform:
• Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Marina Karpova;
• Tatar pop singer Alina Davydova;
• Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Gulnaz Asaev;
• multiple winner of the "Altyn Bars" award, Alfiya Agzamova;
• People's Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Marshal;
