In Kazan, a major renovation of the house of Sh. Marjani will be conducted — a cultural heritage site from the mid-19th century, located at K. Nasiri Street, 10. The corresponding act has been posted on the website of the RT Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage. The two-story building, with an area of 308 square meters, is owned by the MBU for the development of the historical and cultural territory "Historical Environment." Currently, the property has been transferred to the operational management of the association of Muslim entrepreneurs, the document states. The inspection showed that the house is in unsatisfactory technical condition. The building lacks horizontal and vertical waterproofing of the walls, ventilation under the floor, and insulation, which causes the structure to freeze, and the heating system operates intermittently. Specialists plan to restore all decorative elements of the facades — pilasters, window frames, frieze, and cornice, as well as replace damaged sections of wall cladding, repair emergency engineering networks and stairs, and reinforce the roof structures. After restoration, the building will be adapted for modern use: it will house exhibition and multifunctional halls, a café, a workshop, a restroom, and technical rooms. Photo: social networks
