In Tatarstan, the district stages of the youth army gatherings "Guard" have concluded.

      In eight districts of Tatarstan, the district qualifying stages of the youth military-patriotic gatherings of the Volga Federal District "Guardsman" have been completed. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic. The selection of participants was conducted based on the results of all-Russian and regional competitions and contests on pre-conscription training. The results of mandatory five-day training camps, military-patriotic gatherings, and spartakiads, the regional gathering "Post No. 1 of the Republic of Tatarstan," as well as the fulfillment of the "Yunarmeysky standard," were taken into account. Students from the 9th and 10th grades from eight municipal districts of the republic have been invited to participate in the regional stage. Based on the selection results, a team from Tatarstan will be formed to participate in the district competitions of the Volga Federal District. The regional stage is planned to be held at the Kazan State Agrarian University. The "Guardsman" youth gatherings are aimed at the patriotic education of youth, acquiring basic knowledge in the field of defense, and preparing for military service. The project traditionally involves schoolchildren, cadets, and students of military-patriotic clubs planning to enroll in educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense, Rosgvardiya, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
