120 young entrepreneurs from Tatarstan reached the final of the "School Business Start" competition.

      The final gathered talented schoolchildren from all over the republic. They presented projects ranging from traditional crafts to high-tech developments — eco-friendly products, mini-robots, and accessories with GPS trackers.

      The final of the "School Business Start" project brought together more than 120 talented schoolchildren from across Tatarstan. The event was held as part of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." It became an excellent platform for presenting original business ideas, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the republic reported. At the forum, young entrepreneurs presented a wide variety of projects — from traditional crafts to high-tech developments. Twelve teams from Kazan and various districts of Tatarstan reached the final. Among them were the Menzelinsk, Buinsky, Kamsko-Ustyinsky, Tyulyachinsky, Tetyushsky, Bugulminsky, and Sarmanovsky districts.

      Innovative developments stood out particularly. The students proposed the production of eco-friendly products, the creation of mini-robots for child development, and the manufacture of accessories with GPS trackers. Participants also demonstrated their interest in preserving traditions through modern business formats. For example, the production of Tatar cookies or the creation of clothing with national patterns.

      Natalya Kondratova, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan and Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development, noted that in a game format, children learn the basics of financial literacy and entrepreneurial thinking. They learn to present ideas, work in teams, and defend projects before experts. But most importantly, they gain real business experience that helps them consciously choose their path. For many, this becomes a springboard for launching their own business ideas. This approach, according to her, forms a personnel reserve capable of ensuring the sustainable development of the republic's economy in the future.

      The winners in three nominations were teams from Menzelinsk, Buinsky district, and Sarmanovsky district. They will have the opportunity to visit the Skolkovo Technopark and other leading innovation sites in Moscow. Certificates for business development were also awarded to Jalil Secondary School No. 2 and Kazan Lyceum No. 146.

      The "School Business Start" project has been implemented at the request of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for the third year. From 2022 to 2025, it has covered 45,300 schoolchildren, of which more than 21,000 are from small towns and villages. This means that talented children throughout the republic have a chance to make a name for themselves, even if they live far from the capital. And many are already taking advantage of this opportunity.
