A wind farm is planned to be built in the Buinsky district.

      In the Buinsky district, plans are underway to build a wind farm. Currently, a land plot is being selected for the implementation of the project. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic, Oleg Korobchenko, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. He noted that Tatarstan is considering the possibility of installing wind generators in areas with suitable wind conditions. However, such territories are classified as agricultural land and are already being used for their intended purpose. In this regard, a plot is currently being selected, after which the documentation for its lease will begin.
