The Зеленодольская city prosecutor's office supported the state prosecution in the criminal case against a 45-year-old native of the city of Almetyevsk. The court found the man guilty under part 1 of article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person subjected to administrative punishment). During the court proceedings, it was established that on December 12, 2025, the defendant, while in a state of alcohol intoxication, was driving a MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER vehicle. On the same day, he was stopped by traffic police officers on Yanga Tormysh street in the village of Krasny Yar, the Zelenodolsky district. The driver refused to undergo a medical examination for intoxication. Meanwhile, in 2023, this citizen had already been held administratively liable for refusing a medical examination and had his driver's license revoked for 1 year and 7 months. The man fully admitted his guilt in the committed act. As a result of the case review, the court imposed a sentence of 200 hours of compulsory work with a ban on engaging in activities related to driving vehicles for a period of 2 years. The court's verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
