Earlier, as part of the monitoring of the Nizhnekamsk district, inspectors from the Zakamsk management identified a violation of environmental legislation. In the urban-type settlement of Kamskie Polyany, ecologists recorded a dump of reinforced concrete products and polyethylene waste. The total area of the violation amounted to 15,414 sq. m. Ecologists sent a warning and a claim to the Executive Committee of the Nizhnekamsk district regarding the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements of environmental legislation. However, upon a repeat visit, inspectors found that the dump had not been eliminated. The Ministry of Ecology filed a lawsuit with the Nizhnekamsk City Court. The court upheld the position of the ecologists and ordered the Executive Committee to eliminate the violation.
