The former chief physician of the infectious disease hospital, Rinat Gizatullin, has passed away.

      The former chief physician of the infectious diseases hospital in Naberezhnye Chelny, Rinat Gizatullin, has passed away. The farewell will take place tomorrow, June 9, at the mosque on Central Street at 10:00 AM. This was reported by the press service of the medical institution. Gizatullin led the hospital from 1998 to 2013. "Rinat Minnebarievich left an indelible mark in our hearts. His dedication to medicine, deep knowledge, and medical talent served as an example for all of us," expressed condolences from colleagues. "Rinat Minnebarievich moved to Naberezhnye Chelny in 1979 and worked as an anesthesiologist at the Naberezhnye Chelny City Hospital. Then, at Children's Hospital No. 2, under his leadership, the first pediatric intensive care unit in the city was opened in 1982, which he headed. He became a mentor for many young specialists and implemented new treatment methods. Since 1991, he worked at the infectious diseases hospital, progressing from head of the intensive care and resuscitation department to chief physician. He led our hospital from 1998 to 2013, and during this period, the institution achieved significant success under his wise leadership. Under him, the hospital's diagnostic base was expanded, the first virology laboratory in the city was organized, and advanced PCR diagnostic methods were introduced. The infectious diseases hospital became a base for diagnosing intrauterine infections in pregnant women, and since 2006, it has been an interdistrict center for diagnosing and treating patients with infectious pathology for the northeastern region of the republic. Thanks to his efforts, our hospital became a socially-oriented medical institution providing emergency medical care to all population groups, including the most vulnerable." Colleagues note that outside the hospital, Gizatullin was known as an avid traveler, exploring the most remote corners of Russia, including the northern regions and Sakhalin, where he loved to fish. "His soul found inspiration in creativity – he wrote poetry that perhaps conveyed his wisdom, observance, and love for life. He maintained warm relationships with childhood friends until his last days. Rinat Minnebarievich will forever remain in our memory as a professional of the highest level, a sensitive and attentive person, a true leader, and a loyal friend. His departure is an irreparable loss for all of us, for the healthcare of the city and the republic," say colleagues.
