      Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov welcomed a delegation from Heilongjiang University of Finance and Economics (Harbin, China) as part of a reciprocal visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of education and science. During the official meeting, current joint projects and prospective areas of interaction were discussed. An important aspect of cooperation remains the support for language training: KIU is actively developing the study of the Chinese language, and students and teachers are receiving additional opportunities for language practice and immersion in Chinese culture. Special attention was paid to the development of joint educational programs, the implementation of joint scientific research, and the expansion of educational initiatives aimed at training specialists for the economies of Russia and China. The parties exchanged experiences on the development of a modern educational environment, support for innovative activity, and the creation of conditions for the professional and personal growth of students. Participants showed particular interest in issues related to training personnel in the context of dynamically changing labor market requirements, improving practice-oriented education, and expanding opportunities for student participation in various educational and professional initiatives. KIU's significant experience in implementing projects aimed at improving the quality of student training and developing their professional competencies was noted. Lilia Vorontsova, Vice-Rector for Economics and Strategic Development, emphasized that the partnership between Kazan Innovative University and Heilongjiang University of Finance and Economics is a significant element of the university's international strategy aimed at strengthening scientific and educational dialogue between Russia and China. Members of the Chinese delegation highly appreciated the hospitality extended to them and expressed gratitude for the warm reception and constructive exchange of views, confirming their readiness for further development of the partnership based on mutual respect, trust, and a commitment to achieving common goals in education and science. Following the visit, the parties signed an Agreement on the Development of International Academic Mobility and confirmed their readiness for further partnership development, emphasizing the importance of building sustainable international ties and creating opportunities for academic mobility for students and teachers.
