During the days of the anniversary summit Russia – ASEAN, more than 80 additional electric trains will be assigned for the uninterrupted delivery of guests and participants to the event venue.
As reported on Monday by the press service of the "Sodruzhestvo" company, the trains will run at minimum intervals of 30 minutes to 1 hour, and for the maximum convenience of delegates, the trains will go directly to the summit venue – the Kazan Expo exhibition center – in express mode, without intermediate stops. At the same time, regular suburban trains on the Kazan – Airport route will be switched to a modified schedule during this period. Modern six-car trains of the new generation series EPZD will be used on the line, with cars equipped with ergonomic seats with built-in sockets for charging mobile devices, spacious luggage racks, climate systems with air disinfection functions, and video surveillance cameras. It was previously reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in the capital of Tatarstan for personal participation in the anniversary Russia – ASEAN summit, where he is expected to have a busy schedule of bilateral contacts. As the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov informed journalists, Putin's visit to Kazan is scheduled for June 17-19, and the upcoming days will be a real negotiation marathon for the president, during which a large number of bilateral meetings with leaders of Southeast Asian countries will take place. Let us remind you that the anniversary Russia – ASEAN summit will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from June 17 to 19. The organization itself (ASEAN) unites ten countries in the region: Brunei, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines.
