In the Pestrechinsky district, the modernization of two key sports facilities is taking place. The pace of work was assessed by the secretary of the Pestrechinsky local branch of "United Russia," the head of the district, Rais Suleimanov. In the village of Pestretsy, the sports school is being renovated. The builders have already completed the demolition work and have begun finishing works and replacing engineering networks. The facade of the building will be updated, and the roof will be replaced. "Special attention is being paid to the capital repair of the sports hall. This is a large-scale modernization that will create comfortable conditions for our young athletes," Suleimanov reported. The sports school develops 10 areas: wrestling, hockey, basketball, football, taekwondo, arm wrestling, figure skating, belt wrestling, swimming, and judo. "More than 900 kids regularly train under the guidance of experienced coaches. Their successes are impressive: already 423 athletes have received ranks and titles — this is almost half of all participants," emphasized Rais Suleimanov, adding that the formation of a culture of a healthy lifestyle is our key task.
At the "Pestretsy Arena" ice palace, specialists are dismantling the old surface and preparing the foundation. The refrigeration equipment will be completely replaced here, which will ensure better quality ice and a stable temperature regime.
"Creating a modern, safe, and comfortable infrastructure is a direct path to our common goal: to motivate as many people as possible to lead an active lifestyle," he concluded.
