The massive attack resulted in casualties in Crimea, including the death of a child, as well as a fire at an oil depot in Kuban and destruction in the Belgorod region. As a result of the nighttime Ukrainian strike on the Simferopol and Krasnogvardeysky districts of Crimea, two people were killed, including a child, and two others were injured, prompting the head of the republic, Sergey Aksyonov, to promise full support from the authorities to the affected families. During the eleven-hour nighttime attack, Russian air defense forces intercepted Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea and in thirteen regions of the country, including Kuban, where the oil depot caught fire, and Belgorod region, where homes and transport were damaged. Simultaneously, in the DPR, three civilians were killed and four others were injured due to drone strikes, including during fieldwork. In response, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck a Ukrainian drone systems center, energy and transport infrastructure facilities, as well as warehouses and workshops for the production of long-range UAVs.
