      Meet Stepan Aksenov, a first-year student at the Law Faculty of KIU. He is 18 years old. He is also an advisor to the chairman of the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan on land and property relations. Recently, Stepan participated in a meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan, alongside the rector of KIU, Asiya Vitalyevna Timiryasova, and other council members.

      How a former schoolboy entered the Youth Government

      Just a year ago, Stepan was an ordinary schoolboy from Borisoglebsk. After finishing school, he chose KIU, and according to him, this decision changed everything: "After I enrolled in KIU, I began to live a public life. It is Kazan Innovative University that allows one to unlock their potential."

      Stepan Aksenov's potential unfolded rapidly at KIU. Already in his first year, he actively engaged in student life, participated in the KIU Law School, the KIU conference at Kazan Digital Week, and the IV Kazan International Legal Forum. He decided to test himself and go through the competitive selection for the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. Discipline and experience in public activities helped him become an advisor to the chairman of the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan on land and property relations.

      Then something amazing happened in his life.

      A meeting with the rector: a moment to remember forever

      And then came the day when Stepan, on behalf of the Youth Government of Tatarstan, participated in a meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of Tatarstan.

      Imagine: a former schoolboy sitting at the same table with the rector, government officials, and experts. Discussing issues of land and property relations, making proposals, representing the interests of the youth of Tatarstan.

      This left an indelible impression on Stepan: "Even as a schoolboy, I could never have imagined that I would sit on the public council as an advisor to the Youth Government with the rector of the university where I study."

      KIU - a place where dreams and ambitions become reality

      Stepan admits that this would not have happened without KIU. "KIU supports every student initiative and allows one to develop in the direction they prefer," notes our first-year student. "If there is a desire, all tasks set will be accomplished."

      It is interesting to think about where Stepan will be in a year, two, or five years? We won't make predictions, but he certainly has a strong foundation for a career, and most importantly – for serving the good of his country.

      It is important to understand that Stepan is not an exception, not a rare case. Rather, his success is a logical outcome for someone who studies well and participates in the student life of KIU. Our university truly creates an environment where students grow faster than anywhere else, where potential is recognized and helped to unfold.
