In the sports grounds of the village of Bogatyye Saby, a serious competition unfolded: the regional stage of the large-scale All-Russian marathon "Land of Sports" took place there. Nurlat did not remain on the sidelines — our delegation actively joined the competitive race, showing commendable results in several disciplines. The marathon program was rich and diverse. Participants from different corners of the republic competed in classic volleyball, demonstrated technique and endurance on the sand in beach football matches, and also passed standards in the all-around of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex GTO. However, perhaps the most spectacular and emotional stage was the family relay, where the spirit of competition was organically intertwined with the support of loved ones. The residents of Nurlat performed at full strength. Special attention deserves the performance of the Khasanzhanov family, which became a true decoration of the tournament in the team family standings. Cohesion, speed, and accuracy in passing the relay baton allowed this close-knit unit of society to rise to the podium — as a result of intense competition, the Khasanzhanovs took a prestigious third place. This bronze became not only a personal success for the family but also a contribution to the achievements of the entire Nurlat district. Participation in such a large marathon is an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from other districts and to prove once again that in our city live not only hardworking but also truly athletic people.
