A 48-year-old resident of Nizhnekamsk became a victim of fraudsters and lost more than 2 million rubles. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the police, the woman was deceived by a scheme of "protection against unauthorized withdrawal of funds." Following the instructions of the criminals, she handed over her savings to a young man near one of the houses on Mendeleev Street. Law enforcement officers identified and detained the alleged courier. He turned out to be an 18-year-old resident of the Laishevsky district. The operation was conducted jointly with the staff of the OP "Gorki" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kazan. The young man fully admitted his guilt and stated that he received the money from the victim to transfer it to unknown individuals. A criminal case has been initiated for fraud on a particularly large scale.
