According to the results of a conducted study, only five percent of companies in Kazan dismiss employees for blackmailing with their departure, and overall, employers have become more lenient and are more often willing to compromise.

Analysts from the SuperJob service presented the results of a survey demonstrating a noticeable change in employers' attitudes towards employees who try to negotiate a salary increase or better working conditions by threatening to quit. As specified by "Tatar-inform," companies have become significantly more loyal and open to negotiation: one in ten employers stated that they immediately and without hesitation meet the demands of a valuable employee, while another sixty-six percent prefer to discuss possible compromises and seek mutually beneficial solutions. Only five percent of employers still take a hard stance and dismiss "inconvenient" employees. Twenty-seven percent of respondents practiced threats of dismissal, with men resorting to this tactic more often than women. Among residents of Kazan with high incomes of one hundred fifty thousand rubles or more, the proportion of those who took the risk was thirty-four percent. Of those who issued ultimatums to their employers, fifty-seven percent ultimately achieved their desired outcome, thirty-two percent actually left the company, while eight percent remained under the previous conditions. Men achieve their goals less often than women but quit more frequently. It was previously reported that in the Republic of Tatarstan, as of the first quarter of 2026, there was an increase in the average time that unemployed residents spend searching for new employment. According to RBC, citing data from a sample survey of the labor force conducted by Rosstat, the average duration of job search in the region was 4.3 months, which exceeds the figures for the first quarter of 2025, when it took four months, as well as the 2024 figure of 4.2 months.
