      "WE HAVE A NEW GENERATION OF A5 BUSES ON THE WAY" On the evening of July 23, a solemn opening of the professional skills competition "Best Bus Driver of Regular Urban Passenger Routes" took place in Naberezhnye Chelny, organized jointly by the city and "KAMAZ". The competition, timed to the anniversary year, is sponsored by PJSC "KAMAZ". An exhibition of automotive technology was set up for spectators near the Maidan. "KAMAZ" presented five models of modern buses of different classes. These include the KAMAZ-6250 crew bus, the KAMAZ-52222 electric bus, as well as the NEFAZ-5299-40-52, KAMAZ-4290-5N CNG, and KAMAZ-4280-F5 Vega for urban routes. The electric bus, which is not yet on our roads, particularly piqued the interest of the residents of Chelny. The director of passenger transport at PJSC "KAMAZ," Ruslan Kozadaev, introduced the honored guests to the automotive technology. "THIS COMPETITION IS A TRIBUTE TO THE PEOPLE WE TRUST WITH OUR LIVES" Drivers from 42 cities in Russia and Belarus came to the competition: Moscow, Minsk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kostroma, Omsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Kherson, and many others. They all came to the central square of the Maidan with flags of their cities and became the heroes of the participants' parade. The theatrical show program began with the history of Naberezhnye Chelny and the construction of the "KAMAZ" plant. Auto and motorcycle clubs from the city participated in the parade of technology. "KAMAZ" showcased the famous racing truck "KAMAZ-master" and vehicles from the flagship K5 family. "In the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, the birthplace of KAMAZ, there is a big kind holiday," addressed the mayor Nail Magdeev from the stage. "We are grateful to the participants who came from all corners of the country – half of Russia is here. This competition took place thanks to the help and support of the General Director of PJSC 'KAMAZ,' Hero of Labor Sergey Anatolyevich Kogogin. And the prize was provided by 'KAMAZ.' We believe that the best driver in Russia deserves such a prize. And looking at these wonderful buses, I can honestly say that pride overwhelms me. Not every city in Russia can boast that it produces such buses. And this is created by our residents, our workers." The head of the city emphasized that the skill of a bus driver consists of professional and human qualities, kindness, and attitude towards passengers who trust their most precious possession – their lives and those of their children. The Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Economy of Tatarstan, Marat Khisamutdinov, noted that for the first time, a competition of this level is being held in the republic: "The fact that so many guests have come to our hospitable land of Tatarstan confirms the high quality of the products being produced and the quality of the 'human material.' This confirms the high level of the event's organizers." Ruslan Kozadaev welcomed the participants and guests on behalf of the KAMAZ management and noted several important points: "We see how much the appearance of the city has changed since the beautiful blue modern buses appeared on the streets of Naberezhnye Chelny, how the quality of life has changed. For 'KAMAZ,' it is a great honor to shape the image of a modern city by supplying modern, high-quality, and safe equipment.
