Thousands of residents of Kazan have been warned about a temporary water shutdown on August 6-7.

      In the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan, the water supply will be temporarily restricted. The shutdown is related to the connection of two water pipelines for the administrative building at 113 Gabdulla Tukay Street to the centralized networks. Water will be shut off from 1:00 AM on August 6 to 1:00 PM on August 7. The restrictions will affect a number of houses and facilities on Vladimir Kulagin, Gabdulla Tukay, Lebedev, Shigabutdin Marjani, Modelnaya, Tatarstan, Khadi Takhtash, Technicheskaya streets, as well as residents of the Voskresenskoye settlement. Additionally, there may be brief interruptions in water supply and reduced pressure in several areas of the city. Such inconveniences may occur on Avangardnaya, Aktayskaya, Butyrskaya, Glazunova, Kauchukovaya, Krasnouralskaya, Magnitogorskaya, Maiskaya, Matrosa Zheleznyaka, Orenburg Trakt, Technicheskaya, Tikhoretskaya, Tulskaya, Shishkin, and other territories. The "Vodokanal" clarified that the restrictions are necessary for the connection of new water supply communications. Residents are asked to take into account the shutdown time and to make the necessary water reserves in advance.
