The implementation of the project will attract about 300 billion rubles in investments to the economy of Tatarstan and create more than 1,800 jobs, reports the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The document establishes new boundaries for the special economic zone, distributes powers among project participants, and defines obligations for the development of engineering and transport infrastructure for the new site. At least 50 billion rubles from the Tatarstan budget will be allocated for infrastructure development by 2029, with the involvement of off-budget sources. The Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Svyatoslav Sorokin, noted that after the government's decision to expand the SEZ, the practical implementation of the project begins. According to him, the signing of the additional agreement will allow the development of the new site, the creation of infrastructure, the arrangement of land relations, and the support of future residents to commence. This work should create conditions for the launch of new productions, the emergence of jobs, and an increase in tax revenues to the regional budget. The project envisions the placement of eight high-tech productions on the new territory, including enterprises for the production of deep processing products. It is expected that the investment volume will amount to about 300 billion rubles, and the cost of the created infrastructure will exceed 50 billion rubles. The tax potential of the project is estimated at 62.2 billion rubles by 2035. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Tatarstan, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, noted that the expansion of the SEZ became possible thanks to the support of the Russian government and the Ministry of Economic Development. According to him, the placement of eight new productions will provide additional jobs for the region, increase the tax base, and contribute to strengthening technological sovereignty.

      He added that the task of the project participants is to fulfill all obligations and ensure that investors can start implementing projects on the new territory as quickly as possible.
