In Tatarstan, a father and his 7-year-old daughter were injured during a fire in a private house.
A father and daughter from Tatarstan were injured during a fire in a private residential house. As reported by "Tatar-Inform" from the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for Tatarstan, the fire occurred in a house on Sportivnaya Street in the village of Rempler, located near Kazan. The fire started at 4 a.m., spreading over an area of 91 square meters, and the house was filled with smoke.
In an attempt to escape, the homeowner tried to open the metal door to the street but burned his hands on the hot surface. Nevertheless, he remained calm – he woke his 7-year-old daughter and together they escaped through the window of the children's room.
The residential house was severely damaged. The likely cause of the fire was an emergency mode of the electrical network. The father suffered second-degree burns to both hands, and his daughter experienced mild poisoning from combustion products.
