The founding meeting of the regional branch of the Kickboxing Federation of Russia took place at the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      On August 13, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the founding meeting of the Russian Kickboxing Federation (FKR) branch in the Republic of Tatarstan under the auspices of the branch of the Russian Union of Martial Arts (RSBI) in RT. Guests and participants of the event were welcomed by: Deputy Minister of Sports of RT Ildar Sadriyev and President of the RSBI branch in RT Farhat Khusnutdinov. The meeting was moderated by the head of the Executive Committee of RSBI in RT, Honored Coach of RT Alexander Darenkov. The event was attended by employees of the relevant department and candidates approved by FKR to form the composition of the founders of the branch. "In order to improve the efficiency of work and develop kickboxing in our region at a new level, the Russian Kickboxing Federation (FKR) has decided to create a branch of FKR in the Republic of Tatarstan. At the same time, the leadership of FKR notes the significant long-term contribution of the Ministry of Sports of RT and the Kickboxing Federation of RT to the development of this sport. In 2023, the Russian Kickboxing Cup in Kazan went successfully and brightly. In recent years, there has been a need to increase the operational efficiency in work and develop new areas such as: student kickboxing, professional kickboxing, and others. In this regard, the positions of FKR and the Ministry of Sports fully coincide: the establishment of the branch will be a logical and beneficial step towards further development of kickboxing in Tatarstan. We thank the Russian Kickboxing Federation for constructive interaction and support, systematic work on the development of physical culture and sports, as well as the upbringing of responsible citizens and patriots of our Motherland!" said Darenkov. The founders of the branch included: 1. Garipov Ilnur Mukhametmannurovich, Kazan, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of RT, coach of the highest category, member of FKR since 2003, sports judge of All-Russian category, member of the FKR committee for the development of student kickboxing in Russia, advisor to the head of the RSBI Executive Committee in RT on interaction with law enforcement agencies. 2. Khaitov Ruslan Yusupovich, Naberezhnye Chelny, Master of Sports of Russia, member of the Russian national team, coach of the 1st category, active professional athlete, sports judge of the 1st category. 3. Salomov Bakhram Bakhoorovich, village of Vysokaya Gora, Vysokogorsky district of RT, coach of the 1st category, member of the Dynamo Sports Society, sports judge of the 1st category. 4. Tsymzhe Ilya Vladimirovich, Nizhnekamsk, coach of the highest category, sports judge of the 1st category. 5. Darenkov Alexander Alexandrovich, Kazan, Head of the RSBI Executive Committee in RT, Honored Coach of RT, coach of the highest category, chairman of the presidium of the Union of Public Figures of RT, member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Sports of RT. 6. Khalitova Gulnara Ilshatovna, Kazan, accountant. 7. Lutfullin Damir Faritovich, Kazan, sports official. The chairman of the branch, on the recommendation of FKR, the Ministry of Sports, and RSBI, was unanimously elected Ilnur Garipov, who has been developing kickboxing in Tatarstan since 2003. Alexander Darenkov will oversee the work of the branch from RSBI and the Ministry of Sports within the new structure. The head coach of the RT national team and head of the Zakamskaya zone of our Republic became Ruslan Khaitov. Bakhram Salomov received the position of senior coach for the "light contact" and "point fighting" sections and will also engage in adaptive kickboxing. Ilya Tsymzhe will be responsible for the development of professional kickboxing. Gulnara Khalitova became the auditor and accountant of the branch, while Damir Lutfullin was appointed secretary and head of the methodological department.
