In the Nurlatsky district, the inspection of school buses has been completed ahead of the new academic year.
In the run-up to September 1, a scheduled inspection of the technical condition of school buses took place in the Nurlatsky district. A special commission, which included employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, representatives of the prosecutor's office, and the Nurlatsky ATP, assessed the readiness of the vehicles for transporting children in the new school year. Inspectors paid special attention to the functionality of the braking system, steering, external lighting devices, as well as the operation of tachographs and the GLONASS system. Additionally, the presence of first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and the functionality of seat belts were checked. During the raid, the commission held preventive talks with the drivers. The traffic police reminded drivers of the inadmissibility of violating traffic rules, the importance of adhering to speed limits, and the rules for transporting organized groups of children. The most experienced drivers, with extensive work experience, were awarded commemorative gifts. "The safety of children on the road is our top priority. The buses have passed technical inspection, minor remarks that hinder operation have been identified and will be eliminated within the established time frame. Additional briefings have been conducted with the drivers. I am confident that the new school year will begin without incidents on school routes, and our children will be safe," noted Oleg Anzhakov, head of the Nurlatsky branch of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.
