Two children and a woman died in a traffic accident involving three cars on the highway in Tatarstan.

      Three people died in a terrible car accident that occurred this evening in the Verkhneuslonsky district of Tatarstan. This was reported to Tatar-inform by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to law enforcement data, on the 9th kilometer of the Kazan – Ulyanovsk highway, a 54-year-old driver of a Volkswagen, moving from Kazan towards Ulyanovsk, crossed into oncoming traffic, where he collided with two cars: a "Lada Kalina" and a "Lada Iskra." As a result of the accident, the passengers of the "Lada Iskra" – a 42-year-old woman, as well as children aged 10 and 4 years – died at the scene from their injuries. Five injured individuals with varying degrees of severity have been hospitalized. To coordinate the actions of law enforcement, the acting prosecutor of the Verkhneuslonsky district, Alsu Danilova, arrived at the scene. An investigation has been initiated regarding this incident, reports the Prosecutor's Office of Tatarstan.
