Hotels in Tatarstan are transitioning to the MAX platform.

      In Tatarstan, the MAX platform is actively being implemented in the hotel sector. This has been made possible thanks to the support of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality," as reported by the press service of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism. Now, tourists will no longer need to fill out forms and present their passports upon check-in. It is enough to use the "Digital ID" function in the messenger and show the QR code to the hotel staff. The necessary data will be automatically uploaded from the account on "Gosuslugi," which significantly speeds up the registration process and minimizes errors. From September 1, 2026, check-in through MAX will become mandatory for all hotels with more than 50 rooms. Hotels will be required to accept guests even without a physical passport, using confirmation through the national messenger. Hoteliers are provided with comprehensive support, including methodological and technical assistance: specialists set up equipment, train staff, and integrate the system with internal booking services.
