In Mendeleevsk, the winner of the competition for the best name for the urban communications center was awarded.

The Center for Urban Communications has been named "FOR People"

In the Lenin Square near the "Yunost" cinema, the third and final family festival "Matur Karash" took place. One of the key events of the celebration was the solemn awarding of the winner of the competition for the best name for the urban communications center, which is being created based on the editorial office of "Mendeleevskie Novosti." Let us remind you that the concept of the new space was presented at the first summer family festival "Matur Karash." At that time, an open voting was launched in the official group of the editorial office on VKontakte, in which any resident of the city could participate. The residents of Mendeleevsk were active and suggested 10 different name options. The most popular option turned out to be "FOR People" — it received the highest number of votes.

The author of the idea was Vasilia Bannova, a teacher at School No. 1 in Mendeleevsk. Her proposal not only won the public vote but also, according to the organizers, accurately reflects the essence of the future center — a space open to every resident of Mendeleevsk. On the stage of the third festival "Matur Karash," Vasilia Bannova was presented with a winner's diploma and a commemorative gift by the chief editor of "Mendeleevskie Novosti," Julia Iskandarova. Congratulations were expressed by the organizers and the audience, who warmly welcomed the announcement of the results. The editorial office of "Mendeleevskie Novosti" and the festival organizers express their sincere gratitude to all residents who participated in the voting and offered their options. Your concern and love for your hometown help create truly popular projects.

The Center for Urban Communications based on the editorial office continues its preparations. The new name "FOR People" will become its business card and a symbol of open dialogue between the authorities, businesses, and residents of Mendeleevsk with new meanings.
