Coach Yure Draxlar returns to UNICS
The basketball club UNICS has announced the return of Slovenian fitness coach Jure Draxler. The 43-year-old coach has signed a one-year contract with the Kazan team. Draxler previously worked at UNICS from 2021 to 2023 and during that time helped the team win gold and bronze medals in the VTB United League. After leaving Kazan, he spent three seasons with Zenit St. Petersburg. In total, Jure has 19 years of experience working with athletes in swimming, rowing, and basketball. He has worked in clubs in Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has been working in Russia since 2018.
