In Kazan, the grant support program for young teachers will be expanded to 100 participants.

In Kazan, the grant support program for young teachers is expanding: the number of recipients will increase from 50 to 100 specialists annually. This was announced today by the mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin, at the August conference of education workers at Lyceum No. 95. The amount of the payment, as decided by the city head, has been increased from 30,000 to 100,000 rubles. The funds are intended for professional development - training, advanced training, and the purchase of methodological literature and manuals. "In Kazan, grant support for young teachers has been in place for several years. We have decided to expand this practice. Every year, this support will cover 100 young specialists, including educators and teachers of additional education. It is important for us that the grant is not a one-time payment but part of the professional development of young colleagues," said the mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin. Furthermore, previously, the program could only include young teachers from schools under 30 years old with at least one year of work experience in an educational institution, but now it also includes educators and teachers of additional education. The city mayor also reported that over the past year, 1,301 young teachers have joined the education system in Kazan. This is almost twice the number of those who left the sector - 686 people. "It is not enough to hire someone; it is important to help them integrate into the team, provide a mentor, support them in the first years, recognize their strengths, and create conditions for growth. The future of our education system lies with young teachers," noted the mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin.

The application process for the grant will begin in September.
