In Tatarstan, "United Russia" honors the leaders of labor.
As part of the declared Year of Military and Labor Valor in the republic, local party branches are organizing Festivals of Labor and Valor. The goal of the event is to pay tribute to the working people and those of military valor, expressing gratitude to those who contribute to the development of the district, republic, and country through their labor. Today, such festivals are taking place in the Mamadyshsky and Mendeleevsky districts of Tatarstan, as well as in the Kirovsky district of Kazan. In Kazan, the Festival of Labor and Valor is held in a favorite walking spot for residents – the Fisherman's Garden. Here, veterans of the Special Military Operation and their families, labor veterans, representatives of labor collectives, labor and family dynasties, public activists, benefactors, and volunteers gathered to congratulate the laureates of the Electronic Honor Board of Tatarstan. The Electronic Honor Board of the Republic of Tatarstan was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan to publicly recognize the achievements of citizens who have achieved outstanding results in state, production, scientific research, socio-cultural, public, and other areas of activity aimed at the economic, social, and cultural development of the Republic of Tatarstan. Almost 4,800 organizations and enterprises from various sectors presented their employees on the platform – this is more than 15,000 people. Today in Kazan, certificates of inclusion on the honor board were presented to labor leaders by State Duma Deputy Maxim Topilin and a member of the political council of the Kazan local branch of the United Russia party, head of the administration of the Kirovsky and Moscow districts of Kazan, Vladimir Zhavoronkov. “The Festival of Labor and Valor is important for people in terms of moral recognition of their successes and achievements. It is a wonderful format to celebrate the contributions of those who have achieved very serious accomplishments in labor across various sectors, including teachers and doctors, workers in enterprises, and the defense industry. People have the opportunity to see the heroes of labor. And all this is publicly accessible for everyone – in the era of digital technology on the Electronic Honor Board,” said Maxim Topilin. “The concept of a working person has undergone quite serious changes lately. We always thought of engineers or workers. Now we cannot say that the same doctor or teacher is not a working person. These are all the people who dedicate their lives to service, producing something, teaching someone, who understand that they have a super mission – to make the world better,” shared Vladimir Zhavoronkov. Maxim Topilin emphasized that the improvement of labor legislation and guarantees of labor rights is enshrined in the people's program of United Russia. “The United Russia party places the working person at the forefront of its programs and events. Everything is done to develop new technologies, advance Russian industry, and enhance competencies, so that we restore what, unfortunately, we lost in the 90s. In this regard, people who create new products with their hands, minds, and competencies are extremely important. We are trying to celebrate and stimulate everything related to the protection and rights of working people. These are topics of improving labor legislation, preserving guarantees, wages, attracting personnel to rural areas, retaining young professionals in enterprises, and programs for the development of secondary and higher education. Therefore, everything that the United Russia party does is primarily aimed at improving welfare,” noted the State Duma deputy. Among the laureates are participants of the special military operation Gleb Kasyanov and Ilya Somov. For their service, the fighters were awarded medals and orders. Guzaliya Zalyalova dedicated more than 15 years to museum work, heading the Museum of Military and Labor Glory "Zarechye." Galina Shigapova is a therapist at Clinical Hospital No. 2, with 32 years of experience. Certificates were also awarded to the head of the department of the Training and Methodological Center for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Vladimir Dmitriev, head of the department, pediatrician at Children's Polyclinic No. 4 Svetlana Strogalova, chief specialist of the State Scientific Research Institute of Chemical Products Irina Styufeeva, teacher of the native language and literature at School No. 32 Saniya Timurshina, sound engineer of the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers Vladimir Fadeev, director of Children's Music School No. 18 Ilyzia Fathullina, head of the department of the State Scientific Research Institute of Chemical Products Elena Shakhmina, and educator of the bilingual kindergarten No. 2 Aida Yakupova. Director of Children's Music School No. 18 named after Mansur Muzaffarov Ilyzia Fathullina has devoted more than 15 years to teaching and over 20 years to music. “The Children's Music School is more than just work. It is my life, my love. It is the children, parents, musical projects. I live and breathe all of this. We all say that we are one big creative family. Placement on the Electronic Honor Board of Tatarstan is a great pride and honor for me. This is the achievement of our entire team – my colleagues, teachers, children, and parents,” said Ilyzia Fathullina. The district is home to the largest chemical production facilities in the country – the industry giant "Orgsintez," which produces 40% of polyethylene in Russia, and the Kazan Powder Plant, which meets the needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Overall production volumes in the district are growing, new directions are opening, and new jobs are being created. The Kirovsky and Moscow districts have also changed externally. Thanks to the federal program "Comfortable Urban Environment" and the republican program "Our Yard," 395 yards have been improved, 85.5 km of roads have been repaired, and 64 apartment buildings have been constructed in the past five years. “The Kirovsky and Moscow districts have changed radically over the past five years. We have managed to significantly improve the territory of the districts. We have always been the greenest district in Kazan, but recently we have planted 61,000 trees. We have laid about 65 kilometers of roads, and 395 yards have gone through the "Our Yard" program. And what does this mean? We have brought people, children back to the yards. They have started walking again instead of just sitting and playing on their phones. A huge number of infrastructure facilities are opening – for example, this Fisherman's Garden after a large-scale renovation. Literally a block away is a wonderful "Helicopter" center that recently opened after major repairs, where children can attend various sections for free. The main thing is that the quality of life for residents of the districts is changing, and this cannot but please,” reported the head of the administration of the Kirovsky and Moscow districts of Kazan, Vladimir Zhavoronkov.
In the combined district, 8 new kindergartens have been opened, and 3 new schools have been built. Major repairs have been carried out in 7 kindergartens and 7 schools. With the support of the republic, a new multidisciplinary clinic has appeared in the residential complex "Salavat Kupere." Major repairs have been completed in three of the city's largest medical organizations – the second and sixteenth clinical hospitals, as well as the Hospital for War Veterans. Various activities were prepared for the guests of the holiday. The republican Olympic reserve sports school held a fencing master class. Representatives of the "SMESHERS" club taught badminton, and athletes from Shamil Tarpishchev's tennis academy did warm-up exercises with festival participants. There were also applied creativity sites. Here, colorful appliqués could be made, a wood painting master class could be attended, paintings could be drawn, and much more. Next to the festival site, there were picket tents of "United Russia," where residents and guests of the district were informed about the elections to the State Duma of Russia and the party's candidates, and campaign materials were distributed.
