      Bishop of Chistopol and Nizhnekamsk Philaret became a guest of the spiritual and educational center "Amirkhania". The bishop familiarized himself with the activities of the center and discussed with community representatives the issues of preserving traditional values. Accompanied by Imam-Mukhtasib of Chistopol and the Chistopol district Muhammad Hazrat Kiyamov and Deputy Mayor Mikhail Xenofontov, Bishop Philaret inspected the renovated building of the center, studied its infrastructure, and the main areas of social and educational work.

      The delegation then proceeded to the Islamic center of the Chistopol Mukhtasibat. There, the bishop learned about the educational programs of the institution, inspected the classrooms and spaces designated for conducting spiritual and educational events. He met with representatives of the Muslim community of Chistopol. During the conversation, the parties discussed current issues of interaction between the Orthodox and Islamic communities of the city, paying special attention to the themes of spiritual and moral education and joint efforts to strengthen interfaith harmony.
