At a fair held on the occasion of Republic Day, self-employed people of RT earned more than a million rubles.

      Forty self-employed people took part in a fair timed to coincide with the celebration of Republic Day of Tatarstan. Over two days they earned 1.1 million rubles, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan reported.

      The fair under the "I Am Tatarstan" brand was held in Kazan along Bauman Street, on the square by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. Stalls were provided to the self-employed free of charge.

      Participants presented jewelry, paintings, home textiles, confectionery, cosmetics, home decor and much more, all handmade.

      To promote the products of the republic’s self-employed people, which reflect regional identity, the Government of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan hold annual fairs under the "I Am Tatarstan" brand.

      This format helps the self-employed tell people about themselves and their work, find new clients and like-minded people, the agency emphasized.

      Over the first eight months of 2025, the number of citizens using the tax on professional income in Tatarstan increased by 15% and exceeded 411,000 people.

      The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with its subordinate development institutes, provides the self-employed with various state support measures, including state guarantees, participation in fairs, and assistance in bringing products to marketplaces.
