Chistopol's team of oncologists has been recognized as one of the best in Tatarstan.
The Outpatient Oncology Care Center of the Chistopol Central District Hospital was named among the leaders based on the results of the first half of the year. A photograph of the team was placed on the Honor Board of the Republican Oncology Dispensary.
The center, which opened in November 2023 at the polyclinic, serves not only the adult population of Chistopol and the district, but also patients from six attached districts of the Zakamskaya zone: Aksubaevsky, Alkeevsky, Alekseevsky, Novosheshminsky, Nurlatsky and Spassky.
"Success in oncology services is always the result of teamwork, mutual respect and professional unity. You are the pride of the oncology service of the Republic of Tatarstan!" — the republican dispensary noted, thanking primary care specialists for their dedication to the profession and their daily work.
As of today, the center, where two oncologists and four nurses work, has 2,116 patients on the dispensary register. Since the beginning of this year alone, 185 new cases of malignant neoplasms have been detected.
The main tasks of the Outpatient Oncology Care Center (CAOP) are specialized care for cancer patients, maintaining records and dispensary monitoring, analyzing morbidity, as well as educational work on the prevention and early detection of dangerous diseases.
