      At a meeting of heads of educational institutions in Kazan, Rustam Khaibullov, Vice President for Strategic Projects at VK, spoke about the new national messenger MAX and the integration of the educational service Sferum into it. He noted that Sferum in MAX is a single secure educational environment that combines study-related communications and current learning services.

      Earlier, Tatarstan was one of six pilot regions in Russia for the transition of Sferum to MAX, which was carried out successfully. The service is now available to users in all regions of the country.

      "The process is moving actively: in March more than 40 million users were registered on MAX, and over 15 million people call each other. This indicates that the platform, created six months ago, is ready for heavy loads and can handle a multimillion audience. Tatarstan is one of the flagship pilot regions where many services useful to citizens in different areas are being implemented. A special emphasis is placed on the education system; we are actively transferring Sferum's audience to MAX," Khaibullov said.

      According to him, Tatarstan became the leader in teacher activity in Sferum integrated into MAX. The developers received a lot of feedback. Overall, teachers are satisfied that the application has become simpler and more convenient.

      "Feedback is positive, teachers like the product and use it actively. We are developing the platform in terms of chats and messaging and are actively adding new educational services. Most recently, together with the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Education of Russia, we created a diary that provides access to grades, schedules, and homework," Khaibullov told journalists.

      The large federal application "My School" was also launched under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Education of Russia.

      "We made a convenient form of this service in the national messenger MAX. We created a convenient format within a single space for communication also with access to grades and homework," Khaibullov clarified.

      In addition, a new service for parents to send absence notes about a child's absence from school has been launched and is available nationwide.

      "We are digitizing the electronic document flow between parents and teachers. Now you can, in a simple and convenient form, notify a teacher that a child will not come to school," Khaibullov explained.

      Security issues have become the key focus of the new platform. A safe mode is available for children, in which a stranger cannot write to a pupil.

      "Only people who are in the child's address book or who are in the school's allowed contacts can write to or call the child. This is a safe space. We pay great attention to user complaints, as well as the protection of teachers, children, and parents within the educational environment," said Rustam Khaibullov.

      According to him, further engagement of parents and children in the messenger are priority growth areas.

      What else is good about Sferum? "It is simpler, faster, works on low-end devices, and is more secure. At the same time, each region can launch its own educational services. For example, online monitoring and niche educational programs," Khaibullov concluded.

      Tatyana Pokidysheva, Head of the Department for Monitoring Regional Education Systems at the Federal Institute for the Digital Transformation of Education (ФИЦТО), spoke about innovations in motivational monitoring as a mechanism for implementing state policy and management in the field of education. She noted that the activity of school teachers, students, and parents on MAX will become one of the new monitoring indicators.

      "Preschool educational organizations, schools, secondary vocational education institutions, as well as additional education institutions for children will participate," she said.

      At the meeting it was noted that Tatarstan is a flagship region in education and beyond. Our region was one of the first to launch a public services service and to transfer MFC services to MAX. Various convenient services for people are now being actively developed and populated.
