The media competition "Good on Air" for journalists and bloggers launches in Tatarstan.

      From October 15 to November 16, 2025, the "Good on Air" contest will take place in the Republic of Tatarstan, accepting applications from journalists, bloggers, media outlets and media volunteers covering the activities of the region's volunteer community. The prize fund is 250,000 rubles. The aim of the contest is to demonstrate the diversity of Tatarstan's volunteer movement and to support talented authors. This year new categories are being introduced, including publications in the Tatar language and coverage of inclusive volunteering. There will also be a special category for pieces about volunteers of the special military operation. According to Ayrat Mubarakshin, head of the Volunteer Center of the Republic of Tatarstan, the contest will become a linking thread between those who help and those who tell their stories. In recent years there has been an increase in the number of participants: in 2024 a record 143 applications were submitted. The contest is open to various representatives of the media sphere: registered and unregistered media, student media centers and individual authors aged 16 and over. Entries will be evaluated in several areas, including publications in online outlets, social networks and video clips. Applications can be submitted via the "Dobro.Konkursy" internet portal. Contest entries must have been published in 2024–2025. The stages of the contest include acceptance of applications, jury evaluation of the works and an awards ceremony for the winners in December 2025.

      The organizers of the contest are the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Information and Resource Center for Volunteerism of the Republic of Tatarstan" with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tatmedia.
