Good Noodles from "Tynychlyk"

      The halal café at the Zainsk mosque “Tynychlyk” was once again filled with an atmosphere of unity.

      Local women organized, for the third time, the mass preparation of homemade noodles for their fellow townspeople in the area of the special military operation. The event was attended by the heads of the local territorial community associations “Mirny” and “Buguldinka,” Gulbanu Galyaminskaya and Maria Garpshina.

      “This is not the first time I’ve taken part in this good deed. Right now it is very important to support our soldiers!” says Gulbanu Galyaminskaya.

      This time, 200 eggs were needed for the hearty treat.

      This initiative is only part of the mosque’s larger aid efforts. They also collect humanitarian aid and make monetary donations. The finished noodles are packed into containers and, as is tradition, Muslim prayer beads — dispe — are placed alongside so that the soldiers have the opportunity to pray. Such support warms the hearts of the soldiers, who know they are awaited at home.
