KIU students — winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian N.I. Lobachevsky Scientific Papers Competition "Lobachevsky 2.0"

      On November 21, a solemn awards ceremony was held for the winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian scientific paper competition named after N.I. Lobachevsky “Lobachevsky 2.0.” At the awards ceremony the RT Student League, together with the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, congratulated 68 awardees, among them 17 winners in 17 sections.

      Each section became a platform for testing fresh ideas, demonstrating the results obtained by students from their scientific research and implemented projects. In total, after preliminary review, about 250 student works from leading Russian universities were admitted to the in-person stage of the competition.

      Our students proudly represented the Kazan Innovative University named after V. G. Timiryasov: in the “Service and Tourism” section, 1st place was taken by Kamilla Shagieva, a student of the Department of Tourism, group 2031 (scientific supervisor PhD in Economics, Associate Professor N. V. Utkina). She presented the research paper “Development and Implementation of a Student Gastronomic Project ‘Kazan. A Culinary Journey.’” 2nd place in the same section was taken by Polina Salmina, a student of the Department of Tourism, group 2032 (scientific supervisor PhD in Economics, Head of Department I. S. Kabirov). The topic of her work was “Development of a Quest Tour on the Territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.”
