       New support measures for youth are being introduced in the republic. Now couples who decide to tie the knot have the opportunity to receive funds for organizing their wedding celebration.

       This was announced by the first deputy minister for youth affairs of the republic, Sofia Galieva-Mustafina. According to her, this is a special grant for wedding expenses, the amount of which will be limited to one hundred thousand rubles. “When an acquaintance grows into something more, we are ready to support the young couple,” she said, adding that the head of Tatarstan supports this project. To receive such a payment, the couple must meet established criteria, one of which is age – the future spouses must not be older than 35 years. Young people must also have lived in Tatarstan for at least three years. Galieva-Mustafina clarified that by the end of the current year, 80 couples can receive the grant. Those applying for the funds should submit an application using the "Gosuslugi RT 2.0" app, attach a short video introduction, and also undergo an interview. She assured that it would not take much time. If the application is approved, the funds will be transferred to the specified bank card within five working days. “We believe this is a wonderful support. There is no such support anywhere: neither in Russia nor in the world,” said the first deputy minister for youth affairs of Tatarstan. The Ministry of Youth clarified that the grant money can be spent by newlyweds on renting a venue for the official marriage registration, decoration and styling of the space, musical accompaniment, and performances by artists. Funds can also be used for purchasing a suit and dress and other organizational expenses. Support for families, as noted by the department, aligns with the goals of the national project "Family."
