For families, new support measures have been launched
The authorities of the republic have decided to expand support for low-income, large families, and student families. This year, several additional measures have been introduced. The corresponding decision, as reported by the Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Republic, Elmira Zaripova, was made by the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. This year, pregnant students studying full-time will receive a one-time payment of one hundred thousand rubles. This measure will apply to those who registered from January 1, 2025. Full-time students will also be able to take advantage of the free "Social Nanny" service, intended for children under three years old who do not attend kindergarten. Low-income families will be able to rent essential items for caring for newborns. Two more measures are aimed at supporting large families. They will receive a compensation of 30% of the cost of education in secondary vocational institutions. The second measure is a free car for families raising ten or more children. Zaripova emphasized that the authorities of the republic understand which categories need targeted support. According to her, the decisions made were a response to the requests of young and student families expressed during special surveys. It was previously reported that young couples in Tatarstan can now receive a grant of 100 thousand rubles for holding a wedding. It is expected that this support measure will be utilized by 80 couples by the end of the current year. In addition to the new measures for large families, other support programs are also in place in the republic, including compensation for kindergarten fees, payments for medications, housing programs, subsidies, and others.
