According to comments from local administration representatives, the reason for the emergency evacuation was an anonymous tip about allegedly planted explosives in the educational institution.
On the morning of March 6, an urgent evacuation of students from the local medical college was carried out in Nizhnekamsk. According to the press service of the district administration, the reason was an anonymous report of a bomb threat received by the educational institution. Special services immediately responded to the signal and began inspecting the building and the surrounding area. Authorities noted that such reports are usually fake, but they cannot be ignored. “Such reports are usually fake. However, special services have no right to ignore them,” the district administration's comment quoted by KazanFirst states. During the inspection, no dangerous items were found, and after all procedures were completed, the college administration decided to resume classes as usual. It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier in Kazan. At that time, one of the city's schools was evacuated due to an anonymous bomb threat. Earlier, it was reported that schools in Tatarstan are preparing to solve the main problem of long breaks – queues in cafeterias. According to information provided to the Ministry of Digital Development of the republic, the company ICL Services, together with the "Obr.Karta" platform, has developed a software complex called "Smart Cafeteria," based on computer vision technologies and neural networks.
