The court supported the reinstatement of an employee of one of the banks in Tatarstan, who had previously submitted a resignation under psychological pressure.
The Sixth Cassation Court of General Jurisdiction confirmed the illegality of the dismissal of an employee of the "Housing Finance Bank" from Kazan. According to RIA Novosti, the woman, who was subjected to pressure at work, was reinstated and received payments totaling nearly 778 thousand rubles. According to the case materials, in 2024, the employee was forced to submit a resignation letter of her own accord. In the text of the letter, she explicitly stated that the reasons were "constant threats of dismissal for fabricated reasons, provocations, destabilization of the work process, psychological pressure, and discrimination based on gender." After that, the woman appealed to the Privolzhsky District Court of Kazan, demanding recognition of her dismissal as illegal. The court sided with her, reinstated her, and ordered the employer to pay her salary for the time of forced absenteeism (about 670 thousand rubles) and compensation for moral damage. The Supreme Court of Tatarstan, when considering the appeal, supported this decision and even increased the total amount of payments to nearly 778 thousand rubles. The bank disagreed with the courts' conclusions and filed a complaint with the Sixth Cassation Court in Samara, insisting on a new hearing. However, the cassation instance left all previous decisions unchanged and rejected the employer's complaint. As previously clarified by the publication Real Time, citing data from a SuperJob study, in most cases, psychological pressure comes from representatives of the management level, and women and employees aged 35-45 are more susceptible to it. It was previously reported that in Chally, a store owner would be punished for selling tobacco near a school.
